Expanding Sludge Management Possibilities
Sometimes sludge is immediately suitable for land application. Sometimes it isn’t. Dewatering sludges removes a significant amount of the water from the solid material. This process opens up additional disposal possibilities, reduces transportation costs, and allows for further treatment of the dewatered solids into products that can be beneficially reused. Whether dewatered mechanically through centrifuges or belt presses, or passively through drying beds and Geotubes, proper polymer selection and dosing is critical to the success of any dewatering operation.
At Lambourne Environmental we understand that a properly dewatered product expands the possibilities for sludge management.
